The Miami HEAT's six-game winning streak was snapped Friday night as they lost 109-99 to the Detroit Pistons. With the loss the HEAT fall to 20-7 on the season, but are still the top seed in the Eastern Conference. The HEAT have a chance to bounce back tomorrow against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Impact Performance of the Night: LeBron James was excellent, but Will Bynum gets the honor tonight. Bynum scored 25 points off the bench, 15 in the second half. Bynum hit jumper after jumper and helped stymie any run by the HEAT.

The Deciding Run: The second quarter was something to behold. The Pistons scored 41 points on 25 possessions, making eight threes in the process. After dominating the first quarter, there was nothing the HEAT could do to stop the long-range onslaught brought on by Pistons shooters. This season, the Pistons only had six games with more than eight threes made. Those threes tonight were the difference.

Play of the Game: Will Bynum was the star of the night and he made the shot of the night. The HEAT had cut the deficit to four before two made baskets by the Pistons. Bynum then rose up from 26 feet out and drained a three. That play was representative of the game. The HEAT defense forced the Pistons into a difficult shot and the shot went in anyways.

Efficiency Rating: Offensive Efficiency: 112.4; Defensive Efficiency: 123.2

Trend to Watch: The HEAT are undefeated on the second night of back-to-backs this season. Tomorrow that gets put to the test again.

The Takeaway: There’s not much to this game. The Pistons made shots on top of shots. They were excellent, even after the HEAT forced them into difficult shots. There will be more games like this –similar to the Memphis game earlier this season—and the best thing to do is not read too much into them. Check the box score, crumple it up and toss it in the waste basket.

Notes: LeBron James finished with 35 points, six rebounds, six steals and five assists. Chris Bosh scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Dwyane Wade missed the game because of a suspension. Josh Harrellson was inactive.

Few notes :

If Harrelson is not playing in such a game, then when ?
Almario Chalmers is the definition of being inconsistent, i mean i thought he will show up to be the 2nd or the 3rd option BUT no he was garbage in both side of the field.

Didn't see the game, but reading my fellow HEAT fans' post it seems as if Detroit shoot lights out from beyond the arc.Sounds like it was one of those nights that the Pistons just couldn't miss, even when faced with tough shots.Oh well, can't dwell on it.We must get back in the win column tomorrow...TEAM HEAT since '88!

This loss was Wade's fault too I imagine.

Spo is a very stubborn coach !

He was probably for some reasons a must win game because LeBron played 44:19mn and tonight we have another game against the Bucks. Sometimes you have to let it go

I blame Spo for his lack of adjustement during the game, i would have loved to see a combo of Harris and Cole against Will Bynum, the game was over why not resting LeBron and try some news things about the rotation.
Against the Pistons, i thought it would have been a good test for Harrelson to give a shot but now so why he is keeping a spot in that roster

yeahh Spo said we have dept but that dept is the issue still he cant manage, bring some minutes also on Rashard, Harris and big burger Pitt, sometimes i don't understand why bringing Rashard here then end nothing like mighty Curry.

I wouldn't expect Terrel Harris to be a rotation player at any point this season.

Have you seen last year the game against the Hawks? They won without Wade and LeBron, the kid made a great performance.

Even if we are in a winning mod, a game without Wade, with Mike Miller and Ray Allen off, i would have tryed something with him because the game was over, we had nothing to lose

I would've liked to of seen Harris get more minutes as well, Mike Miller & company looked like they were stuck in cement

agreed w. Jorts too, but seeing that they had him inactive when they sent Pittman too the D-League, it doesn't look like they have any future plans for him

The Pistons? You all must have been too focused on Monday's upcoming game against us. Can't say I blame you, though.

If I was playing I'd eat Haslem alive... Literally.
