James Ennis early dunk contest nominee?

Yes. Been too long since a heat player participated.

Well, you could see he was really nervous in the first two quarters, but then late in the game he made that miraculous difficult first ever circuit shot basket, and a monster slam...

He needs to work on his ball handling, a bit, get more used to the official NBA type of style (apart from pre-season) and progress will come in time,...

Please, James Ennis, …pleeease put away Danny Granger off the bench while you have the early chance,....
LOL I love how MaxHeat69 has over 1500 posts, and he's not a Heat guy (MoodMuzik)(Posted 19 April 2014 - 07:50 AM)

He jumped high and all but the dunk itself wasn't breathtaking. He barely stretched out far enough to get the ball in the basket. Had he of slammed it down, it would have been ultra nasty. Here's to Ennis getting a lot more opportunities and hopefully he settles down a bit more as well. But it's expected going into your first real NBA action. Lot of promise with the kid.

Next you're going to say Wade's dunk on Varejao wasn't nasty because he rattled it in. Come on that's as good as an in-game dunk can get, give him a break

Are you really putting the Ennis dunk in the same discussion with what Wade did to Andy? C'mon maaaaaan.

And for all of those getting their panties into a bunch. I liked it. It was a nice play. But yes I have watched a lot of basketball and seen a lot of ridiculous dunks. This one lacked a little something at the end of it in my opinion.
