Dragic’s $90M is 17% discount to $108M max (based on $67.1M cap), and 38% discount to what max starting next year would be (at $89.1M cap).

Dragic's contract makes me feel better thinking of it in next year's terms.

Compare Dragic numbers to what davis just got this Is a win. Plus he took a paycut to help sign Wade

Uhhh do you know how much better Anthony Davis is than Dragic?? Not just in terms of now (and has been since he came into the league) but how much better he'll be than Dragic in the future, despite not even being at his peak yet?

There is not a team in the league that wouldn't pay AD the same money NOH just did to keep him if they could have. Hell I was sad he didn't opt out so he could be unrestricted in 2017 and we'd have a shot at him.

Some people get caught up in numbers too much, sure he may not put up 30 / 8 but if he can run the offense efficiently and put 16/ 6 its going to be worth it. We have not had a point guard that can run an offense god knows how long. No knock on chalmers but his shooting was always the reason he was handed the position. Difference now is we have a pg that can do both. It wasn't going to come cheap though.

Your Jersey says cavs, but your rings say heat!
