The Miami HEAT beat the Phoenix Suns 97-88 Saturday night to wrap up their road trip with a 4-2 record. The win brought the HEAT's record to 8-3 on the season. Here's a recap of the game:

Impact Performance of the Night: When you lead the team in scoring and only miss two shots, I think you earn the performance of the night. Chris Bosh finished with 24 points and nine rebounds against the Suns. He made nine of his eleven attempts and was generally unstoppable.

The Deciding Run: After Goran Dragic scored with two minutes left, the HEAT scored seven straight points to close the Suns out. Chris Bosh, LeBron James and Ray Allen all contributed to the run that ensured the HEAT a winning road trip.

Play of the Game: LeBron James’ reverse slam was great, but his spin-o-rama layup at the end of the fourth quarter had a higher level of difficulty and stretched the HEAT lead to six.

Efficiency Rating: Offensive Rating: 102.8; Defensive Rating: 91.4

Trend to Watch: The HEAT defense picked it up at the last two games of the road trip. The Suns struggled to get good looks as the HEAT defense was attacking ballhandlers and crowding shooters. The offense doesn’t appear to be slowing down, so any defensive improvement will go a long way for the HEAT.

The Takeaway: Tonight’s win ensured the HEAT a winning record on their six-game road trip. Considering that the trip spanned all four timezones, it’s an impressive mark. The HEAT have a home heavy schedule that’s replete with off days coming up. Finishing strong on the road sets the tone for the rest of the month.

Notes: LeBron James finished with 21 points and seven rebounds. Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier were the only players to join James and Bosh in double figures. Dwyane Wade and Dexter Pittman were inactive.
